Job summary

Carrière is op zoek naar een Seed Processing Operator voor een vooraanstaande zaadverwerkende organisatie. Je verwerkt verschillende zaadpartijen met aandacht voor efficiëntie en kwaliteit, gebruikt reinigings-, ontsmettings- en upgrade-methoden en bewaakt continu de kwaliteit van de zaden.

Je neemt monsters, registreert batchkenmerken en voert een fysieke uiterlijk beoordeling uit, inclusief vochtgehalte en Thousand Seed Weight.

Qualifications

• Nauwkeurig en oog voor detail
• Technisch ingesteld en interesse in gespecialiseerde apparatuur
• In staat om zelfstandig te werken en werkinstructies te volgen
• Kwaliteitsgericht en tijdig deviations kunnen identificeren

Responsibilities

• Afwijkingen met betrekking tot zaadkwaliteit identificeren en proactief oplossingen zoeken
• Specialistische apparatuur afstellen en finetunen volgens werkinstructies
• Monsters nemen van verwerkte zaadpartijen
• Batchkenmerken van zaaddelen registreren
• Fysieke beoordeling van zaad per toewijzing uitvoeren (uiterlijk)
• Duurzaamheid van vochtgehalte en Thousand Seed Weight bepalen

In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing and checking seed batches. You will work with specialized equipment and ensure that the quality of the seeds meets the required standards.

As a Seed Processing Operator, you are responsible for the correct and efficient processing of different seed batches. You will use the appropriate cleaning, disinfection and upgrading methods. During the process, you will closely monitor the quality of the seeds and identify any deviations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Using the correct cleaning, disinfection and upgrading methods to process seed batches as efficiently as possible.
• Identifying deviations related to seed quality and taking a proactive approach to finding suitable solutions.
• Adjusting and fine-tuning specialized equipment according to work instructions.
• Taking samples from processed seed batches.
• Recording batch characteristics of seed lots.
• Performing a Physical Appearance assessment of the seeds.
• Determining moisture content and Thousand Seed Weight.
