Job summary

Booston BV zoekt een Seed Processing Operator ter ondersteuning bij de zaadverwerking. Je verwerkt en controleert verschillende zaadpartijen met gespecialiseerde apparatuur en bewaakt continu de kwaliteit volgens de geldende normen.

Qualifications

• Nauwkeurig werken en oog voor detail.
• Technische interesse en affiniteit met gespecialiseerde apparatuur.
• In staat zelfstandig taken te volgen en uit te voeren.
• Kwaliteitsbewust en in staat afwijkingen tijdig te signaleren.

Responsibilities

• Gebruik van juiste reiniging, desinfectie en upgradingsmethoden voor zaadmachten.
• Identificeren van afwijkingen in zaadkwaliteit en oplossingsgericht handelen.
• Afstellen en fijn-tunen van gespecialiseerde apparatuur volgens werkvoorschriften.
• Van verwerkte zaadmengsels monsters nemen.
• Registreren van batchkenmerken van zaden.
• Uitvoeren van een visuele kwaliteitsbeoordeling van zaden.
• Bepalen van vochtgehalte en 1000-Zaad Gewicht.

Are you precise, technically minded and quality-oriented? We are looking for a Seed Processing Operator for a company specialized in seed processing. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing and checking seed batches. You will work with specialized equipment and ensure that the quality of the seeds meets the required standards.

Over de functie

As a Seed Processing Operator, you are responsible for the correct and efficient processing of different seed batches. You will use the appropriate cleaning, disinfection and upgrading methods. During the process, you will closely monitor the quality of the seeds and identify any deviations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Using the correct cleaning, disinfection and upgrading methods to process seed batches as efficiently as possible.
• Identifying deviations related to seed quality and taking a proactive approach to finding suitable solutions.
• Adjusting and fine-tuning specialized equipment according to work instructions.
• Taking samples from processed seed batches.
• Recording batch characteristics of seed lots.
• Performing a Physical Appearance assessment of the seeds.
• Determining moisture content and Thousand Seed Weight.
