Job summary

Blyce is seeking a Security Test Engineer to strengthen application security across web apps, APIs, and platforms. You will conduct hands-on security testing, document findings with impact, and drive remediation within a cross‑functional team in a global delivery context.

The role emphasizes OWASP top 10, PTES, CI/CD security, and collaboration with Product Development and Security stakeholders. Strong English required; Netherlands-based candidates welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in security testing, penetration testing, application security, or related role.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, networks, and authentication/authorization controls.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP Testing Guide, PTES.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on security testing for web apps, APIs, portals, platforms, solutions and product enhancements.
• Identify and validate vulnerabilities related to OWASP risks, authentication, APIs, XSS, SQLi, and related topics.
• Use Burp Suite, Nmap, scanners to support testing and document findings with evidence.
• Follow up on remediation actions, retest fixes, and drive closure with teams.
• Help embed security checks into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
