Job summary

Strativ Group seeks a Security & Compliance Manager to protect its people, facilities, information and operations across the Netherlands. This hands‑on role focuses on implementing Dutch defence security standards within busy engineering and production sites.

You will lead physical security programs, coordinate audits and controls, and collaborate with operations, IT, compliance and leadership, as well as external security providers and authorities. Fluent Dutch and English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in corporate, industrial, government or military security.
• Experience with physical security and facility protection in regulated environments such as defence, aerospace or critical infrastructure.
• Fluent Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Own physical security across production, engineering, office and storage facilities.
• Assess site risks and manage access control, CCTV, intrusion detection and guarding services.
• Lead security incident response, investigations, emergency planning and exercises.
• Coordinate audits, inspections and improvements relating to Dutch defence security requirements, including ABDO and ABRO.
• Support processes for personnel clearances and the protection of classified information.
• Strengthen security procedures for suppliers, logistics and sensitive equipment.
• Build security awareness through practical training and clear reporting procedures.

We are recruiting a Security & Compliance Manager for a fast-growing defence technology company developing advanced unmanned aerial systems. This is a hands‑on role protecting its people, facilities, sensitive information and operations across the Netherlands.

You will lead physical security and turn Dutch defence security requirements into practical procedures for busy engineering and production sites. You will work closely with operations, IT, compliance and leadership, as well as external security providers and relevant authorities.

• The ability to work confidently with both operational teams and senior stakeholders.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
