The Security Engineer for Cloud Platforms is part of a dynamic, multi-cultural scrum team that takes full responsibility for the Cloud Security Information & Event platforms. This role involves innovating, building, testing, and supporting these platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security and performance.
Practical Examples
• Design and implement multi-Cloud monitoring solutions.
• Design and implement an IAM model for our Cloud solutions.
• Design custom automation tools and solutions using Devops pipelines or azure resources
Top 3 responsibilities
• Promote, design and deliver Cloud Security functionalities requested by internal stakeholders.
• Pro-actively share your knowledge with the team, educate the team and function as Knowledge Base for Cloud related questions from Security Engineering.
• Continuously improve existing Cloud Security Solutions concerning security, availability, performance and costs.
The team provide and manage secure and stable platform features to our internal users and peer enablers, so they can provide their (managed) security services to their internal and external customers to provide secure financial services.
Profile
• Deep understanding of Azure services including security tools used for cloud-based forensics and security investigations: Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft 365 Lighthouse.
• Experience in cross-tenant security activities with Microsoft products.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps regarding service connections, pipelines, software distribution and integration.
• Programming skills and development knowledge: Python, PowerShell, Azure-CLI, YAML, Infrastructure as Code (JSON/Bicep).
• Experience with Log Analytics and MS Sentinel.
• Extensive experience building Kusto Query Language (KQL) queries.
• Data engineering experience, preferably experience building Databricks platforms.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and similar network protocols.
• Understanding of ITIL.
• Agile Scrum and DevOps mindset and experience.
• Clearly demonstrates and takes ownership.
• Encourages collaboration and actively builds relationships.
• Adaptive to changing situations.
