Job summary

Major Dutch Bank is seeking a Senior Cyber Security DevOps Specialist to join the DevOps Security team within its Corporate Information Security Office. The role focuses on Security by Design, working with engineering teams to embed security early in development and raise security maturity.

This hybrid position requires at least one office day per week in Amstelveen and strong English. It is hands-on in enabling and advising, with deep security expertise and a track record of influencing

Qualifications

10+ years in cybersecurity, IT, risk management or banking.
Background as software developer or hands-on engineering across the full SDLC.
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure software development.
Ability to influence engineers and senior stakeholders without formal authority.
Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Lead security groups with DevOps teams to identify, prioritise and remediate security gaps.
Act as a trusted advisor on secure development practices, security guardrails and secure coding standards.
Translate security requirements into practical guidance for developers, and bring developer feedback back into security initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement of the developer security experience and help DevOps teams reach measurable maturity gains.
