Job summary

ANVA's new multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS platform places security at the center of product engineering. As Security Lead, you own the security posture of the platform serving millions of Dutch citizens, shaping how software is designed, built, and delivered securely.

You bring deep application security and architecture expertise and will build out the Security team reporting to the CTO. You will drive secure-by-design practices, mentor engineering teams in threat modeling, and translate

Qualifications

• Significant experience in application security and/or security architecture.
• Proven ability to conduct threat modeling and secure design reviews.
• Deep understanding of web and SaaS security patterns.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security architecture reviews for new features and platform capabilities.
• Define secure design patterns and guardrails for multi-tenant SaaS.
• Assess trust boundaries, data flows, and authorization models across the platform.
• Lead threat modeling efforts using STRIDE, PASTA, or attack trees.
• Champion secure coding practices and secure code reviews.
• Integrate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) into the SDLC.
