Job description

A close-knit team, diverse activities and responsibilities. A dynamic world where you come into contact with different international environments. Together with your team, you are responsible for the safety of these international flights (the passengers, the aircraft and the baggage). Amsterdam Schiphol is your main work location, but the organization has locations all over the world. For example, Scandinavia is one of the locations that falls under the responsibility of Amsterdam station. So as a security officer of our Amsterdam station you will be sent yearly to our stations in Scandinavia to enforce the team. In addition to that you can be sent to any of our stations around the world for a work mission. On a yearly basis you will be sent around 3 times abroad for work.

You are probably curious about the work

• Before each flight, you and the team will be briefed about the mission.
• For each flight, you have different stations and tasks that need to be occupied and performed. You are always responsible for multiple tasks.
• Together with the team, you take care of the safety of the passengers, the security around the aircraft and the luggage.
• You will be trained at a high level. As an agent, you can be deployed on all tasks and you are a real all-rounder.

You are probably curious about the job requirements

• Our working language is English, so you speak and write English fluently. Hebrew is also widely spoken, but this is not a mandatory requirement.
• You know what you’re going for. You are confident and have a feisty character. Active and physical hard work is no problem for you.
• You are open to working in an international and rapidly changing environment.
• You can deal well with high work pressure and strive for quality and safety.
• You live in the Netherlands and are in possession of a Dutch bank account number and BSN. Travel distance to work is up to 40 km, including the availability to come to the airport at all times (public transport or otherwise).
• You feel comfortable in a close-knit, disciplined and multicultural team. You can adapt well and deal with different backgrounds.

You are probably curious about what you can expect from us

• You will receive a salary from €19,57 to €21,72 per hour, depending on experience.
• These amounts do not include various surcharges, such as irregularity surcharges.
• You will receive an annual contract of 32 hours per week, with the prospect of a permanent position.
• You will receive the fringe benefits from the Collective Labour Agreement for Private Security. With, among other things, a travel allowance of €0,18 per kilometer.
• Quality is of paramount importance to us. We provide various training courses to keep your knowledge and skills up to date.
• You make several trips abroad on an annual basis. You can go abroad for different reasons, so you can go for training or work.
• An average shift lasts 6 hours, but depends on the mission. Every Saturday you are free from work.
• You will be working with a team of 14 to 18 colleagues per shift. You always perform multiple tasks in a mission, but you’re never doing it alone. Every day is different and we make sure that you perform and occupy different tasks and positions.
