Job summary

CTSN Group zoekt een Cargo Security Officer op Schiphol in een dynamische werkomgeving met een hecht team. Je bewaakt de beveiliging van internationale zendingen en werkt met geavanceerde screeningtechnologieën om pakketveiligheid te waarborgen.

Je analyzeert documentatie, voert controles uit en werkt nauw samen met collega’s. Een 32-urige werkweek en kans op een vast dienstverband zijn mogelijk; reizen naar buitenlandse locaties behoort tot de functie.

Qualifications

• Je spreekt en schrijft Engels vloeiend en werkt in een internationale omgeving.
• Je werkt graag in een hecht team en neemt initiatief.
• Je kunt goed omgaan met druk en behoudt veiligheid en kwaliteit.

Responsibilities

• Beoordeel en controleer binnenkomende cargo volgens strikte beveiligingsregels.
• Verifieer documentatie, inspecteer pakketten en voer safety checks uit.
• Maak gebruik van moderne screeningtechnologieën zoals röntgensystemen.
• Neem deel aan dagelijkse teambriefings en werk samen in een team van 3–5 personen.
• Reis af en toe naar buitenlandse locaties voor training of opdrachten.

As a Cargo Security Officer, you are an essential part of the international air cargo of one of the most secured airlines in the world.

Every day, thousands of shipments go around the globe, on their way to their destination. Your responsibility is to ensure that each one meets the highest aviation security standards before it ever leaves the ground.

Working in a close-knit team of three to five colleagues, you’ll combine advanced technology with sharp attention to detail to keep shipments moving safely and efficiently. No two shifts are ever the same.

One moment you’re inspecting valuable electronics, the next you’re screening pharmaceutical products, oversized freight or unique international shipments. Every shipment presents a new challenge, making your work both dynamic and rewarding.

Every shift starts with a team briefing where you’ll review the day’s priorities and prepare for incoming cargo.

From the moment the shipments arrive, you oversee the complete security process. You verify documentation, inspect shipments, perform thorough security checks and ensure every package is checked according to our strict security regulations before it is cleared for transport.

Using modern screening technologies, including advanced X-ray systems, you’ll assess cargo with precision and make well considered decisions in situations where accuracy matters most.

While you’ll have times where you will work independently, you’ll always be supported by a team that values collaboration, trust and professionalism.

Together, you ensure every shipment departs safely and on schedule.

Let’s Dive Into What You Can Expect

• You will receive a salary from €20,32 to €22,54 per hour, depending on experience. These amounts do not include various surcharges, such as irregularity surcharges.


• You will receive an annual contract of 32 hours per week, with the prospect of a permanent position. An average shift lasts 6 hours, but depends on the mission. Every Saturday you are free from work.


• You will receive the fringe benefits from the Collective Labour Agreement for Private Security. With, among other things, a travel allowance of €0,23 per kilometer.


• Quality and international experience We attach great importance to quality. That’s why we offer various training courses to keep your knowledge and skills up to date. You will also travel abroad several times a year, either for training or for work-related purposes.

Every now and then you will be sent abroad to enforce our stations around the network. It is a nice and unique addition to your function and you get to see a whole new world of aviation security.
