Job summary

Nedap in Groenlo is seeking a Java Backend Developer to help build secure backend services and REST APIs for access management solutions. You will work with Java and Jakarta EE, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and testability, and help shape technical decisions.

Qualifications

• Backend experience with Java/Jakarta EE and REST APIs.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code.
• Willingness to review and improve colleagues’ work and coding standards.
• English proficiency; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reliable backend services and integrations using Java and Jakarta EE.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and ensure robust integrations with other systems.
• Adhere to coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure code clarity.
• Contribute to automated testing and maintain software quality over time.
• Work in an Agile environment and help improve development processes.
