Job summary

Krijn Verwijs is seeking a reliable Second Skipper for the YE-38 to cover skipper absences. You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety, and collaborate closely with the skipper and fleet colleagues.

As you grow, you will take on more responsibility, participate in maintenance and mussel farming activities, and pursue formal qualifications to progress towards (Chief) Skipper within a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• In possession of SW6/5 and/or a Master Mariner's License, or willing to develop these qualifications.
• Enthusiastic, positieve and a true team player.
• Safety and quality are top priorities for you.
• Willing to gradually take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities

• You supervise daily vessel operations and ensure safety.
• Support work preparation and cooperate with the skipper.
• Oversee the maintenance of the vessel and equipment.
• Contribute to mussel farming operations and long-term maintenance planning.
