Job summary

H&R Block in the Netherlands is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare complete tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience is required; you’ll learn on the job, earn a competitive hourly rate, and build client-facing skills while helping clients understand their tax position. This is an in-person role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience interacting with customers in service roles.
• Clear communication; ability to ask questions to understand needs.
• Strong problem solving; organize information and identify solutions.
• Comfort with digital tools and AI-based products like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
