Job summary

Taxmarc B.V. in Utrecht is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join our international team. You will translate tax requirements into functional SAP specs, configure SAP solutions, and support clients across jurisdictions.

Expect mentoring responsibilities and close collaboration with our development team to deliver robust indirect tax solutions. Hybrid work in Utrecht with ongoing SAP and tax-training opportunities, a collaborative culture, and exposure to multi-country VAT/GST

Qualifications

• 4+ years SAP implementation experience in SD/FI with 2 full lifecycles.
• Strong SAP SD knowledge and FI integration.
• Experience with indirect tax determination in SAP; EU VAT experience a strong plus.
• Basic ABAP skills and debugging ability.
• Experience with third-party tax engines is an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional implementations of Taxmarc's indirect tax solutions for clients
• Analyze business and tax requirements and produce clear functional specifications
• Provide expert advice and ongoing functional support to clients
• Create and maintain solution design documentation

Our flagship product, the Taxmarc Indirect Tax Engine, enables clients to automate tax determination and stay compliant with diverse tax regulations worldwide.

We're expanding our core team and looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join us in Utrecht.

About the role

As an SAP Functional Consultant at Taxmarc, you'll play a key role in both product development and client delivery. You'll translate business and legal tax requirements into functional specifications, configure SAP solutions, and provide expert support to our international clients. You'll work closely with our technical team to design and implement optimal solutions, and over time take on a mentoring role for junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities
