Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager for an European rollout of S/4HANA for a global manufacturing group headquartered in the Netherlands. You will lead country rollouts across eight to nine markets, with Belgium and the Netherlands at core, and travel across Europe.

This is a functional programme delivery role focusing on plan, scope, risks, stakeholder alignment, cutover, go-live and hypercare.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of SAP experience with a strong project/programme track record.
• Proven multi-country rollout experience (S/4HANA template deployments preferred).
• Fluent English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own plan, scope, risks and stakeholder alignment across parallel country waves.
• Coordinate functional workstreams into the global template and run cutover/go-live.
• Provide on-site leadership with local teams across Europe and travel frequently.

SAP Project Manager – European S/4HANA Rollout

Freelance | ASAP start | 12 months+ | Netherlands/Belgium base, c. 75–80% European travel | English essential, Dutch a plus

A global manufacturing group headquartered in the Netherlands is adding senior delivery capacity to its multi-country SAP S/4HANA programme. You'll lead country rollouts across eight to nine European markets – Belgium and the Netherlands at the core, plus Eastern and Southern Europe including Romania, Greece and Croatia – working on-site with local teams and reporting into the central programme.

This is functional programme delivery, not a technical role: owning plan, scope, risks and stakeholder alignment across parallel country waves, coordinating the functional workstreams into the global template, and running cutover, go-live and hypercare.

You'll need: 15+ years in SAP with a strong project/programme management track record, proven multi-country rollout experience (ideally S/4HANA template deployments), solid functional grounding across core SAP modules, fluent English, and the flexibility to travel most of the working week. Retail or consumer manufacturing background and Dutch are both advantages.
