Qualifications

SAP Basis Consultant – S/4HANA Migration (Freelance / Contract)

We are currently supporting a large-scale SAP modernization program and are looking to engage an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to support a transition to S/4HANA. This is a key role within a multi-year transformation initiative focused on replacing legacy SAP systems ahead of end-of-life deadlines. The position requires strong hands‑on Basis expertise combined with migration and cloud integration experience.

Overview

You will play a critical role in the build and migration of a new on‑premise S/4HANA landscape, while supporting integrations with SAP cloud solutions. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure performance, stability, and a smooth migration process.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of a new on‑premise S/4HANA landscape
• Enable and maintain integrations with SAP cloud solutions
• Support system migration activities, including performance optimization, parameter configuration, and issue resolution
• Contribute to brownfield migration activities and overall SAP modernization efforts

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP Basis experience, including S/4HANA environments
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP HANA, ABAP server, SAP BTP, PI/PO, and SAP Cloud Connector
• Experience with migration tools such as SWPM and SAP SUM
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server
