Job summary

DEPT® is a Growth Invention company delivering growth services across Brand & Media, Experience, and Technology & Data. As a Salesforce Core Engineer, you will translate business requirements into robust Apex, Lightning Web Components, and platform integrations.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and client stakeholders in a hybrid setup based in Budapest. You’ll design scalable solutions, optimize data models, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on software development with Salesforce Core (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
• Advanced Apex design patterns, trigger frameworks, and async processing.
• Deep experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of governor limits, security architecture, and data modeling.
• Proficient with SFDX, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) certification preferred.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II (PDII) or Platform App Builder preferred.
• Agency mindset with strong communication across multi-client projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop & customize: Apex, LWC, Visualforce when needed.
• Design scalable declarative configurations and automations.
• Build secure REST/SOAP API integrations and middleware connections.
• Manage data with SOQL/SOSL optimizations and migrations.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX and Git.
• Engage with clients in an Agile/Scrum environment and communicate tradeoffs.
