Your role as a Sales Support Representative at Xsens

As a Sales Support Representative, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our renowned industrial sensor solutions within the Automation & Mobility market segments, including outdoor mobile robots, subsea robotics and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.

In this role, you will work closely with our Account Executives and Field Application Engineers to support the full sales process. Your responsibilities will include following up on inbound enquiries and sales opportunities, preparing quotations and sales documentation, coordinating customer requests, and ensuring a smooth transition from opportunity to order. You will also play an important role in maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and supporting the sales team in developing new business opportunities.

A significant part of the role involves sales administration and customer support, including accurate order processing, approved vendor form completion, managing RMAs (Return Material Authorizations), and coordinating our product loaner pool. You will help ensure that customer requests are handled efficiently and that relevant information is accurately documented and communicated across the organization.

You will also have the opportunity to explore and implement modern automation and AI tools in a controlled and practical way to improve sales processes, administration and customer support.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of customers, sales and technology and wants to develop a broad understanding of the sales process. It can provide a strong foundation for a future career as an Account Executive.

You will report directly to the Business Line Director, and your office will be based in Enschede, the Netherlands.

Key challenges :

• Support the sales process: Assist Account Executives with customer enquiries, opportunities, quotations, sales documentation and follow-up.

• Manage customer relationships: Provide responsive support to existing customers and help ensure a smooth and professional customer experience

• Coordinate sales administration: Process orders, RMAs and the product loaner pool, ensuring accurate and timely administration

• Maintain sales information: Keep CRM records, customer data, opportunities and activities accurate and up to date, and coordinate information across Sales and Engineering

• Improve sales processes: Identify opportunities to streamline sales support and administration, including the use of automation and AI tools

Your skills and experience

Xsens is looking for a highly proactive and independent Inside Sales Representative to support our Sales team for the industrial-grade sensors market. Someone who thrives in an environment where your conscientious workstyle and commercial drive are highly appreciated. You have:

• Bachelor degree in Commercial or related fields

• At least 1 year of inside sales or sales support experience in a fast paced environment

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and active listening

• Accurate administration skills: data entry, database hygiene and order processing and attention for compliance

• Proficiency with MS Excel and AI communication tools

• Advanced proficiency in English, proficiency in of German or Spanish is a plus

• High level of resilience and adaptability, combined with good time management and prioritization

• Relationship building skillset/experience, able to prioritize and multi-task
