Partner Enablement Manager at Backbase

As a Partner Enablement Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our partners are equipped to successfully promote, sell, implement, and support Backbase solutions. You will work closely with sales, solutions engineering, partner sales, and services teams to identify challenges, escalate critical issues, and drive seamless collaboration between Backbase and our partners. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring partners are enabled with the right knowledge, tools, and support to drive joint success.

What you'll do

  • Support the onboarding process for new partners by ensuring they have a foundational understanding of Backbase’s products, services, and business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partner-related enablement queries, helping to identify knowledge gaps and escalate challenges when needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, solutions engineering, partner sales, and services teams to streamline partner interactions and ensure smooth enablement journeys.
  • Assist in coordinating and delivering training sessions, workshops, and enablement initiatives to keep partners up to date with Backbase solutions.

Technical & Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the Partner Sales and Solution Engineering teams to provide partners with relevant resources, collateral, and tools for effective selling.
  • Work alongside the Backbase Academy and Partner Success teams to ensure partners stay current with our latest technical solutions and methodologies.
  • Identify common technical challenges faced by partners and escalate issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor partner progress and engagement with enablement programs, highlighting key areas for improvement.
  • Support the evaluation of partner certifications and training completion, ensuring partners meet required enablement standards.
  • Gather and consolidate partner feedback, helping to improve enablement processes and drive greater partner success.

Who you are

  • 7+ years of experience in partner enablement, partner management, sales enablement, solution engineering or a related role in the software or fintech industry.
  • A good understanding and experience of implementing software solutions and related methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions, financial services, and fintech industry trends.
  • Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and cloud services
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to identify issues, escalate challenges, and proactively drive resolutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience working with CRM, sales enablement tools, and partner training platforms is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with banking, wealth management, and financial technology trends.
  • Experience working in a partner-driven sales environment.
