Job summary

The Kingfish Company in the Netherlands seeks an ambitious, commercially driven sales intern to support the expansion of our Dutch Yellowtail into the Benelux high-end fish retail market. The role blends sales strategy, fieldwork and brand activation to stimulate product turnover in premium fish shops.

This full-time internship lasts at least five months, based around Kats (Zeeland). You will gain hands-on experience in sales, learn about sustainable seafood, and join a fast-growing aquaculture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student in a sales-related or marketing program and seeking a full-time internship of at least 5 months.
• Based in or around Kats (Zeeland).
• Strong English communication skills; Dutch is a bonus.

Requirements

• You’re a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in a sales-related study program (business, economics, hotelschool, etc.) or marketing study and looking for a full-time internship of at least 5 months
• You’re based in or around Kats (Zeeland)
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English. If you speak Dutch that’s beneficial
• You’re skilled with MS Office tools

The Kingfish Company is a pioneer and leader in sustainable land-based aquaculture. We produce the yellowtail kingfish (also known as Ricciola/Hiramasa/Greater Amberjack) which is a highly versatile premium fish species, well known in the Italian and Asian fusion cuisines.

Production of our fish is based on advanced recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), which create the ideal growth environment for kingfish, offer optimal biosecurity, and limit the environmental impact. Operations run on 100% renewable energy, sourced from wind, solar, and biogas and the company’s facilities operate on seawater to avoid wasting precious fresh water.
