Job summary

Tempcontrol, a growing hardware specialist in temperature sensing, seeks a Sales Engineer with a strong Commercial & Technical focus in the Purchasing and Sales department. You will manage projects end-to-end, combine sharp pricing with competitive purchasing, and help reduce costs through process improvements.

You will expand the customer base, advise on temperature sensors and related instruments, and participate in trade fairs.

Qualifications

• HBO or MBO with a technical affinity is required.
• Technical background in technology: e.g. measurement and control, mechatronics or electronics.
• Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Flexible, structured, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary and final price calculations.
• Create quotations, purchase orders and sales orders.
• Expand and manage the customer base.
• Acquire new customers and grow market share.
• Advise on and sell temperature sensors and related instruments.
• Procure components for sensors and related instruments.
• Support customers and suppliers by phone and email.
• Occasionally visit customers or suppliers in person.
• Participate in and visit trade fairs when needed.
