Job description

Your day as a Sales Engineer?

Today's the day: you're putting the finishing touches on a quotation for a major international potato producer. The sales manager received the final feedback from the customer last week, and now it's your job to complete the technical part.

You develop a smart robot setup for limited space and coordinate it with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to ensure technical feasibility and practicability. Next, you consult with product management to see whether we can already implement the crate erector upgrade. That way, you ensure the proposal is not only feasible, but also distinctive and innovative. Just before lunch, the layout is finalized.

In the afternoon, you join a meeting with project management. You receive valuable feedback from an ongoing project about hours already spent and recent purchase prices. You think quickly, offer input, and immediately update the cost estimate. It's important to share the information with your fellow sales engineering colleagues. You wrap up the day feeling satisfied. What's the status of the new CPQ tooling anyway? Tomorrow's another day!

Requirements

• HBO bachelor degree (technical background)
• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Commercial acumen, team player, and solution-oriented!
• Conceptual thinking and innovative that you can apply.
