Qualifications

• HBO-level degree in physics, electrical engineering or similar.
• Approximately five years in a technical customer-facing, support or engineering role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; professional Dutch and English.

Job Description

Teledyne Adimec ontwikkelt en produceert high-performance industriële camerasystemen voor toepassingen waar prestaties en betrouwbaarheid cruciaal zijn. Onze technologie wordt gebruikt door toonaangevende OEM-klanten binnen onder andere semiconductor, life sciences en defence.

Om klanten binnen EMEA technisch te ondersteunen bij de keuze, evaluatie, integratie en support bij vraagstukken van onze imaging producten zoeken wij een Sales Engineer. Iemand die complexe technologie begrijpelijk maakt, energie krijgt van klantcontact en samen met sales en engineering tot de beste imaging-oplossing komt.

De rol

Als Sales Engineer EMEA ben je het technische aanspreekpunt voor klanten en accountmanagers. Je ondersteunt klanten bij de selectie, evaluatie en integratie van Adimec camerasystemen en helpt hen om de juiste imaging-oplossing voor hun toepassing te vinden.

Je maakt onderdeel uit van het Europese Business Office en werkt vanuit Teledyne Adimec in Eindhoven. Vanuit het TechTeam werk je nauw samen met accountmanagers, product owners, business lines en R&D. Daarbij ligt jouw focus op Industrial Vision-toepassingen binnen onder andere semiconductor en life sciences.

In de praktijk betekent dit dat je:

• Een belangrijke bijdrage levert aan succesvolle camera evaluatie- en design-in trajecten bij internationale OEM-klanten;
• Technische problemen vertaalt naar concrete oplossingen en specificaties;
• Nauw samenwerkt met accountmanagers, product owners en R&D om klanten succesvol te ondersteunen.

Wie zoeken wij?

Je hebt een sterke technische basis en vindt het leuk om jouw kennis in te zetten in direct contact met klanten. Je kunt goed luisteren, stelt de juiste vragen en weet complexe technische informatie helder over te brengen. Daarbij neem je initiatief en blijf je betrokken totdat een vraag daadwerkelijk is opgelost.

Je herkent jezelf in het volgende:

• HBO-niveau, bij voorkeur in natuurkunde, elektrotechniek of een vergelijkbare technische richting;
• Bij voorkeur circa vijf jaar ervaring in een technisch klantgerichte, support- of engineeringfunctie;
• Sterk analytisch en probleemoplossend vermogen;
• Een communicatieve, energieke en proactieve werkstijl;
• Je werkt zelfstandig, maar zoekt actief de samenwerking met collega’s;
• Je beheerst Nederlands en Engels op professioneel niveau;
• Je bent bereid om voor klantbezoeken binnen EMEA te reizen.
