Grovero makes MiniGro, a compact microfarm that lets chefs grow fresh microgreens and herbs in their own kitchens. Our systems are used in restaurants, hotels and other professional kitchens across Europe.
We’re looking for a sales development intern who can help our sales team spend more time with the right potential customers. You’ll research opportunities, prepare outreach and keep meetings and follow-ups organised.
What you’ll do
- Research restaurants, hotels, chefs and other potential customers.
- Find the right contacts and verify phone numbers and account information.
- Use our Sales OS to prioritise opportunities and prepare focused calling lists with useful context.
- Help plan meeting days by grouping relevant prospects and coordinating appointments, routes and confirmations.
- Track follow-ups and turn call and meeting notes into clear CRM updates and next steps.
- Look for new commercial opportunities, such as restaurant openings, new chefs and hospitality projects.
- Help organise demonstration days for groups of chefs at our office or customer locations.
- Join sales calls and visits, and gradually begin contacting and qualifying prospects yourself.
- You’ll work closely with our sales team and learn how research and preparation turn into meetings and new customers.
Who you are
- You’re studying Commercial Economics, International Business, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or a related commercial field, and you’ll remain enrolled throughout the internship.
- Your programme allows you to complete a 4–6 month internship (paid).
- You’re already based in the Netherlands and can work from our Amsterdam office.
- You’re interested in sales, business development or commercial operations.
- You’re comfortable approaching potential customers and interested in developing your prospecting, communication and sales skills.
- You’re curious about CRM systems, sales processes and how technology and automation can support commercial growth.
- You’re reliable, take initiative and can work independently with guidance from the sales team.
- You’re happy to join sales calls, customer meetings and occasional visits to locations across the Netherlands.
- You can work from our Amsterdam office regularly and communicate well in English. Dutch is a plus.
