Sales Consultant Mid-Market (New Business)

As a Sales Consultant Mid-Market, you will identify and cultivate new business opportunities by driving strategic HCM initiatives within organizations containing 200-999 employees. You must be able to effectively work with internal and external partners, independently manage a full sales cycle, and accurately forecast sales while managing a pipeline four times your assigned quota. We are seeking high energy Sales Consultants with previous experience selling a robust solution in a fast-paced environment.

At ADP, you will have the opportunity to sell our entire suite of 40+ solutions and services to C-level Executives without vertical boundaries. You will be able to grow your own business while still having the support of exceptional sales leadership, continual sales training, advancement opportunities, and industry-leading compensation, benefits, and rewards.

Additional responsibilities include the following:

  • Identify and close sales in the Mid-Market segment in assigned territory;
  • Product-agnostic selling: Promote both local and global payroll and non-payroll solutions that best address a client's and/or prospect's needs;
  • Identify and develop opportunities for ADP with clients and/or prospects, incl.: establish clear view on target account needs; build account plans where necessary, identify key stakeholders and decision makers; arrange appointments and undertake visits; effectively lead and manage price & contract negotiations; utilize all available sales tools to maximize sales efficiency (SFDC); conduct regular business reviews with clients/prospects.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with business focus or experience in related field
  • Extensive experience in field sales or inside sales role
  • Have excellent selling and negotiation skills, with particular focus on "transactional selling" (2-6 months selling cycles)
  • Develop in-depth understanding of local market characteristics and client / prospect needs
  • Independently identify opportunities for ADP across local and global payroll and non-payroll solutions
  • Successfully engage with clients and/or prospects on all organizational levels to effectively close deals; serve as trusted ambassador for ADP
  • Drive business opportunities through "challenger" mindset, while complying with core ADP values ("win it right, win it together")
  • Ability to negotiate and close contracts in Dutch and English
  • In possession of European citizenship and living within the Netherlands
