Job description

We’re a spirited startup with a bold vision: to revolutionize the polluting and inefficient process of fashion e-commerce returns. Our technology allows online retailers and brands to resell and ship return products directly from one consumer to the next. By skipping the warehouse, our solution saves CO2 emissions, reduces logistics costs, and prevents financial losses associated with returned items.

When a consumer selects our return method, the product is directly listed for resale on the retailer's webshop at an optimal discount, calculated using our algorithm. We call this Forwarding.

You will be targeting international fashion brands and retailers. Our launching customer is Kuyichi (NL), and we are currently onboarding Oilily and another Dutch fashion brand. Our focus regions include Germany, the Nordics, the UK, and the Netherlands.

We’ve won multiple national and EU innovation grants, including the Mastercard Strive EU Innovation Fund, and we’ve collaborated with Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) on the development of our algorithm and a published academic paper.

Your role

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, selecting, and reaching out to (inter)national fashion retailers and brands, especially e-commerce and operations managers.
  • Creating a structured pipeline, prospecting through LinkedIn, email, cold-calling, and meetings.
  • Planning and managing your own sales tasks and supporting the rest of the commercial team
  • Running product demos and clearly communicating the value of our service.
  • Handling objections and navigating longer B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders (e.g. users, decision-makers, champions).
  • Providing market feedback, refining ICP, and shaping outbound sales strategies.

Experience in cold-calling is required. You’ll also support trade show research and attendance, optimize sales funnels, and bring your own structure and energy into the sales process.

Requirements

  • Fluent English is a must. Dutch, German, or Scandinavian languages are a big plus.
  • Background or network in fashion (or fashion tech) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS or service sales, cold acquisition, CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Apollo)
  • Organized, proactive, independent, and eager to grow into a leadership role
  • Able to plan your own work, manage your tasks, and support team coordination.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in related fields

Open to a flexible contract structure, but with availability to work at least two days a week at our office in Rotterdam (based on a 40-hour work week).

Growth potential

Promotion to Head of Sales is possible based on performance, leadership ability, and initiative. As a startup, your impact and growth potential are significantly larger than in a corporate environment.

Salary and structure

  • Base salary: €45.600 gross/year
  • On-target earnings (OTE): €60.800/year (30% variable based on €200K ARR quota)
  • Commission rate: 7.6% of ARR closed-won deals
  • Accelerator: 10% on ARR exceeding your target
  • Stock options: granted based on performance and ownership potential
  • Commission paid quarterly
