A spirited startup in Rotterdam seeks a Sales Executive to drive fashion e-commerce returns innovations. You will manage B2B relationships, optimizing sales processes and strategies. The role requires strong cold-calling skills, a background in fashion tech, and an organized mindset. With a salary up to €60,800 plus commissions, you'll grow with the company, potentially advancing to Head of Sales.
We’re a spirited startup with a bold vision: to revolutionize the polluting and inefficient process of fashion e-commerce returns. Our technology allows online retailers and brands to resell and ship return products directly from one consumer to the next. By skipping the warehouse, our solution saves CO2 emissions, reduces logistics costs, and prevents financial losses associated with returned items.
When a consumer selects our return method, the product is directly listed for resale on the retailer's webshop at an optimal discount, calculated using our algorithm. We call this Forwarding.
You will be targeting international fashion brands and retailers. Our launching customer is Kuyichi (NL), and we are currently onboarding Oilily and another Dutch fashion brand. Our focus regions include Germany, the Nordics, the UK, and the Netherlands.
We’ve won multiple national and EU innovation grants, including the Mastercard Strive EU Innovation Fund, and we’ve collaborated with Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) on the development of our algorithm and a published academic paper.
Your role
You will be responsible for:
Experience in cold-calling is required. You’ll also support trade show research and attendance, optimize sales funnels, and bring your own structure and energy into the sales process.
Requirements
Open to a flexible contract structure, but with availability to work at least two days a week at our office in Rotterdam (based on a 40-hour work week).
