Job summary

Vivid Resourcing in Utrecht (Netherlands) seeks a Solution Architect to shape how our SaaS platform connects with the world. You will bridge product, engineering, and customers, designing API-driven, scalable solutions built on microservices and cloud infrastructure.

The role is hands-on with high impact, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and partners to ensure secure, maintainable designs and pragmatic delivery. Open to a range of seniorities with growth paths.

Qualifications

• Strong, demonstrable experience designing API-driven and microservices-based architectures.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and integration patterns.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and document solution architectures for new features, integrations, and partner connections
• Own the technical vision for how APIs and microservices evolve as the platform scales
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implementable, secure, and maintainable
• Translate business and customer requirements into concrete technical solutions
• Guide integration projects with third-party hospitality systems (PMS, POS, channel managers, booking engines, etc.)
• Act as a technical advisor to product managers, customers, and partners
• Help define and evolve architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization
• Identify technical risks early and propose pragmatic solutions
