Overview

As an S&OE Lead at our international company, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our Sales & Operations Execution processes for BeNe. You\'ll be responsible for bridging the gap between strategic planning and day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless flow from demand forecasting to delivery. This role demands a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.

You will be instrumental in leading and refining S&OE processes that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. This involves working closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, production, and finance teams to align on forecasts, manage inventory, and resolve operational challenges. You will analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization initiatives within our BeNe operations.

The S&OE Lead will act as a central point of contact for S&OE-related matters, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration. You will lead weekly S&OE meetings, facilitate discussions, and ensure that decisions are made and executed effectively. This is a position that requires a strong blend of analytic thinking and hands-on execution within a dynamic international environment.

Your responsibilities

• Leading and optimizing S&OE processes: Oversee the entire S&OE cycle, from balancing demand and supply in the short term planning horizon to inventory management and order fulfillment for BeNe;


• Preparing and facilitating weekly S&OE meeting(s), ensuring all relevant data and topics are covered for effective decision-making;


• Driving service level improvements by aligning and collaborating closely with Sales, Supply/Demand Planning and Customer Service;


• Following-up on S&OE Actions to ensure timely execution and resolve any obstacles;


• Ensuring S&OE inputs/outputs are effectively connected with the S&OP (medium/long term planning horizon) cycle and processes;


• Aligning with Cross-Border SPOC: Serve as the primary contact for cross-border S&OE matters, bringing any escalation topics into the Country S&OE meeting for resolution;


• Ensuring order prioritization according to the agreed-upon plan, balancing customer needs with operational capabilities;


• Developing and implementing S&OE strategies focusing on continuous improvement, process standardization and the adoption of best practices to reduce lead times and enhancing service levels and customer fulfillment promise;


• Performance monitoring and analysis to establish and track key S&OE performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify trends, root causes of issues and opportunities for optimization.

Your candidate profile

The ideal candidate is or has:

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.


• Several years of experience in a similar S&OE, S&OP or supply chain (planning) role within a manufacturing organization;


• Highly analytical, data-driven and capable of translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations, while always prioritizing the customer in decision-making;


• Deep understanding of S&OE processes and best practices. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to optimize performance within a complex and dynamic environment;


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You are able to communicate with Commercial and Supply Chain functions and you are a natural team player;


• Proficient in using ERP systems and advanced planning systems and/or business intelligence tools (like Available-to-Promise). You leverage existing dashboards and are able to identify additional reporting requirements to support the process;


• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus;
