Job summary

AAK in Rotterdam seeks a Project Engineer to own a portfolio of CAPEX and engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover. You will drive technical improvements on the production floor and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Purchasing to ensure safety, reliability and performance.

You will manage budgets, schedules and resources, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, industrial or process engineering.
• 5+ years of project engineering/PM experience in industrial manufacturing (FMCG/food/chemical).
• Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary CAPEX projects from concept to handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple CAPEX and engineering projects from initiation to handover.
• Develop business cases, technical scopes and budgets.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, automation and civil activities.
• Prepare RFQs and support supplier selection and bid evaluations.
• Supervise contractors on site and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.
