Job summary

ZealHR invites a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Rotterdam-based operations team. The role focuses on shipment coordination, import container movements, and close collaboration with shipping lines and clients in the Netherlands.

The candidate will monitor ETA, manage documentation, and ensure timely cargo releases while maintaining accurate records and responding to operational queries. A strong focus on accuracy and stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in ocean freight / import shipping.
• Experience coordinating import container movements and cargo releases.
• Good understanding of ocean freight documentation and processes.
• Experience with shipping lines, freight forwarders and logistics providers.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ETA of import shipments and communicate schedule changes.
• Coordinate booking and release of import containers.
• Request and manage container releases with shipping lines.
• Execute cargo releases through Portbase PCS.
• Build and maintain shipment records in internal systems.
• Verify booking references and ensure documentation is complete.
• Collaborate with commercial teams in daily operations.
