Job summary

Maersk is recruiting a Gate Inspector to manage access control for drivers and oversee administrative tasks related to containers. The role is based in a two-shift schedule and includes full-time employment through Adecco, with training opportunities via the Adecco Academy.

You will handle scheduling, invoicing, and container inspections, ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance. A willingness to obtain VOG and relevant certifications is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous education/work experience in administration is required.
• Knowledge of business systems is a plus.
• You can work independently and as part of a team.
• VCA basic certification is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain VOG.
• Own transport (car) is required.
• English and communicative Dutch is required.

Responsibilities

• Access control: first contact for drivers and ensure safe access to the site.
• Accurate administration: handle all administrative processes for containers, from scheduling to invoicing.
• Damage control: inspect containers for damage, cleanliness, and claims, and report accordingly.
