Job summary

Exotec Solutions SAS is seeking a Robotics Maintenance Technician to keep advanced robotic systems running at customer sites in the Venlo and Venray area. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Skypod robots, conveyors and related equipment, diagnosing mechanical, electrical and software issues.

You will monitor performance, minimize downtime, support installations, and participate in upgrades. Regular travel and hands-on problem solving are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, automation or robotics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel within the Venlo/Venray area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automated robotic systems including Skypod, robots and conveyors.

Why this role matters

As a Robotics Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Exotec's advanced robotic solutions across multiple customer sites in the Venlo and Venray area. Through your expertise and problem-solving skills, you will ensure maximum system availability and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll do

Maintain highly automated robotic systems

• Keep our Skypod® system, robots, conveyors and related equipment running at peak performance.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software issues.

Ensure operational excellence

• Monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities.

• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support continuous reliability improvements.

Support installation and expansion projects

• Assist with the deployment of new systems and equipment.

• Participate in upgrades and optimization initiatives across customer sites.

Deliver outstanding customer support

• Build strong relationships with on-site customer teams.
• Respond quickly to technical issues and emergency situations when required.
• Support customer training and contribute to an exceptional service experience.

What to expect

Shift pattern: Primarily flexible day shifts, with approximately 20-25% morning or afternoon shifts

Travel expectations: Regular travel between customer sites in the Venlo and Venray area

Technical skills

• 1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, automation, robotics or a similar technical environment

• Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Basic understanding of automation, software, mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work hands-on in an operational environment

• Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Customer-oriented attitude
• Good level of spoken English

• Experience working with automated systems, conveyors or robotics
