Vector Machines B.V. is building autonomous mowing robot systems for solar parks across Europe. You will join a multidisciplinary team to develop frontend UX, real-time fleet monitoring, autonomous route validation, and scalable software deployment for multiple robots in the field.
You will work on backend APIs, cloud integrations, and operator-focused workflow improvements, delivering end-to-end software that keeps robots operating reliably in remote locations.
VectorMachines develops autonomous mowing robot systems for solar parks. With our innovative technology—lidar, GPS, and vision (sensorfusion)—we help solar parks maintain their facilities efficientlyand sustainably.
Ourrobots operate reliably and autonomously in solar parks throughoutEurope. Currently, we physically validate routes on-site for each newinstallation. This is a process that works well and gives customersconfidence in the quality of our solution.
Toscale even more efficiently, we want to take the next step: enablingusers to independently validate and adjust routes, with the robot asan intelligent validation instrument. Think of: the robot drives tocorner points, the user confirms via an intuitive interface whetherthis is correct, and the system automatically adjusts wherenecessary. This accelerates our deployment, increases flexibility forcustomers, and makes us more scalable without compromising quality.
Additionally,we're building fleet management functionality for software updatesand version control, so we can efficiently maintain and improve agrowing number of robots in the field.
You'llbecome a crucial link in the further development of our intelligentrobot control system. You'll build the software that bridges advancedautonomous robots and the operators who deploy them daily. This meansyou'll work on:
You'llwork in a multidisciplinary team of robotics engineers, embeddeddevelopers, and backend specialists. Together, you'll ensure seamlessintegration between user interfaces, cloud infrastructure, and theautonomous systems operating in the field.
You'll have the freedom to make an impact across varioustechnical areas:
You'll build software that must continue working in dynamicconditions: remote locations, variable connectivity, and users whoprimarily expect "it should just work." Reliability andscalability are essential.
You'llalso get the opportunity to contribute end-to-end: from idea anddesign to implementation and field use, with direct feedback frompractice.
