Job summary

TMC is seeking a Risk Manager in Utrecht to lead and improve the risk management process across projects. You will identify risks and opportunities, translate them into concrete impacts on time, cost and scope, and support decision-making with clear analysis.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers and the management team to embed risk management in the program culture and ensure proper implementation of risk tools and processes, while seeking continuous improvement.

About this vacancy

As a Risk Manager at TMC, you are responsible for more than just identifying and managing risks. You help organizations move forward by providing integral insight into risks and opportunities, translating these into concrete impacts on areas such as time, money, scope, and planning. You proactively operate within technical projects and programs, serving as a connecting link between project managers, engineers, the management team, and directors.

You set up and facilitate the risk management process, ensure its integration within the project organization, and make risk management an ingrained part of decision-making. You utilize system engineering and risk management applications, ensuring their proper implementation and compliance. You act both in a coordinating and monitoring capacity, intervening promptly when risks or opportunities require adjustments.

In addition to risks, you actively focus on opportunities: how processes can be smarter, how planning can be optimized, and where possibilities lie to manage costs or add value. You collaborate closely with various disciplines and are eager to further develop yourself within projects.
