Job summary

Delft Circuits is seeking a RF / Microwave Engineer to own microwave performance from concept through validation. You will combine simulation, measurement, and product development in a tight loop within our Product Development team at Delft.

The role calls for 5–10 years experience, 4+ in RF/microwave, proficiency with HFSS/CST, and ability to translate feedback into roadmaps. Salary ranges €69,375–€82,231 per year, with 8% holiday allowance, and 30 vacation days.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of work experience, with at least 4+ years as RF/microwave expert.
• Strong knowledge of transmission lines, S-parameters, matching, filters and attenuators.
• Experience with HFSS, CST or similar 3D EM tools.
• Experience correlating simulations with RF measurements.
• Collaborative mindset and good English.
• Cryogenic or low-temperature RF experience.
• Quantum computing signal chains.
• Flexible circuits or RF connectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D EM simulations of interconnects and transitions.
• Design microwave filters and attenuators.
• Validate simulations against measurements.
• Define RF product architectures and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
