Job summary

Elsevier in Amsterdam is seeking an Internship Researcher for the Academy, an e-learning platform for early career researchers. You will work on content development, marketing initiatives and campaigns to attract new users.

This nine-month internship offers hands-on experience in a large international organization, opportunities to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and exposure to multimedia marketing, webinars, and live streaming.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled at a university as a master's student for the duration of the internship.
• Be sure to receive credits from your university for this internship (non EU-students).
• Be an English speaker with excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have social media management skills (YouTube, LinkedIn) and experience with paid advertisement.
• Have solid skills in editing and producing multimedia marketing content, including imagery and video.
• Have experience with live streaming/webinar development and support.
• Have research acumen (organizing and leading focus groups, customer surveys, market analysis).

About the Role

Researcher Academy is Elsevier's free e-learning platform for early career researchers. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a master's student looking to enter the field of marketing communications. You will gain experience in a large international organization.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the platform’s content development and marketing initiatives to increase traffic and acquire new users;
• Coordinating the creation of learning content in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
• Planning and execution of marketing campaigns, online community/social media management, and market and competitor analysis.

Requirements

• Be enrolled at a university as a master's student (MSc/PhD in Sciences or Marketing) for the duration of the internship;

What we offer

• Internship duration approximately 9 months (duration can be discussed)
• Remuneration: 750 Euros gross per month, 5 days a week

Primary Location Base Pay Range: NLD Amsterdam (Radarweg) €9,000 - €9,000.
