Job summary

RELX International in Amsterdam offers an Internship Researcher for the Academy Marketing team, open to master’s students in Sciences or Marketing. The role focuses on marketing communications and creating content for Elsevier’s Researcher Academy.

You will support content development, coordinate learning content with stakeholders, plan campaigns, manage online communities, and perform market analysis. The internship lasts about 9 months with a monthly gross salary of 750 euros, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled at a university in the Netherlands as a master’s student for the duration of the internship.
• Be sure to receive credits from your university for this internship if non-EU.
• Be an English speaker with excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have social media management skills and experience with paid advertisement.
• Have solid skills in editing and producing multimedia marketing content, including imagery and video.
• Have experience with live streaming/webinar development and support.
• Have research acumen (organizing and leading focus groups, customer surveys, market analysis).

About the Role

Researcher Academy is Elsevier’s free e-learning platform for early career researchers. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a master’s student looking to enter the field of marketing communications. You will gain experience in a large international organization.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the platform’s content development and marketing initiatives to increase traffic and acquire new users;
• Coordinating the creation of learning content in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
• Planning and execution of marketing campaigns, online community/social media management, and market and competitor analysis.

Requirements

• Be enrolled at a university in the Netherlands as a master’s student (MSc/PhD in Sciences or Marketing) for the duration of the internship;
• Be sure to receive credits (in case of non EU-students) from your university for this internship;
• Be an English speaker (near-native) with excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Have social media management skills (YouTube, LinkedIn) and experience with paid advertisement;
• Have solid skills in editing and producing multi-media marketing content, including imagery and video;
• Have experience with live streaming/webinar development and support;
• Have research acumen (organizing and leading focus groups, customer surveys, market analysis).

• Remuneration: 750 Euros gross per month, 5 days a week

Base Pay Range: NLD Amsterdam (Radarweg) €9,000 - €9,000.
