Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
• Expertise in high-speed III-V component design at the process level, epitaxial engineering, and fabrication of active components (diodes, HEMTs, HBTs).
• Strong research potential and ability to operate in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Commitment to teaching and to obtaining the University Teaching Qualification.
• Motivation to secure research funding and build industry/academic collaborations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop an independent research line in innovative electronic device technologies for high-performance electronics.
• Explore high-speed III-V design, epitaxial engineering, and fabrication of active components leveraging existing infrastructure.
• Contribute to TU/e’s teaching mission by delivering BSc and MSc courses and supervising PhD students and postdocs.
• Pursue national and European funding opportunities and collaborations with industry and academia.
