Job summary

Radboud University is seeking a Research Assistant at the Donders Centre for Cognition to advance theoretical modelling of conversational repair. You will critically evaluate cognitive theories and apply computational modelling to formalise hypotheses about conversational repair within a project led by Dr Marieke Woensdregt.

The role involves literature review, formalisation of a case-study component, co-writing conference papers and journal articles, and presenting at international venues, with

Qualifications

• Reading and summarising relevant literature from cognitive science, conversation analysis, and related fields.
• Formalisation of a case-study component of the cognitive capacity of interest.

Responsibilities

• Co-writing a conference paper with Dr Marieke Woensdregt (and possibly other collaborators).
• If accepted, presenting the project at an international conference.
• Co-writing a journal article with Dr Marieke Woensdregt (and possibly other collaborators).
• Active participation in biweekly lab meetings of the Computational Cognitive Science research group.
