Job summary

IDEXX is expanding its Global Medical Consulting team and seeks a Veterinary Oncologist to support customers across Europe. This home-based role conducts phone consultations in German and English, guiding on diagnostics and treatment options for canine and feline oncology cases.

Familiarity with IDEXX tests (including histopathology, Cancer DX, IHC, flow cytometry, PARR) and a commitment to ongoing learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in German and English, spoken and written.
• Diplomate of ECVIM-CA Oncology or ACVIM Oncology; board-eligible may be considered.
• Current veterinary license or registration in a European country and right to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone consultations to veterinary professionals on oncology cases in dogs and cats.
• Advise on diagnostic test selection, result interpretation and treatment options.
• Be familiar with IDEXX in-house tests and reference laboratory testing across markets.
• Maintain medical knowledge through self-study, meetings and literature reviews.
• Record consultations in the CRM and participate in educational materials and meetings.
