ESA is offering a Graduate Trainee position in Remote Sensing Earth Observation Mission Concept Development at ESTEC, Noordwijk, Netherlands. You will join the Keystone mission team, contributing to theory, simulations and data processing for mission selection in 2028.

Qualifications

• Recent or final-year master’s degree in physics, geophysics or geoscience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated experience using Python is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support the Keystone mission team in theoretical assessment and performance evaluation.
• Simulate signals observed by the spacecraft and process data into scientific products.
• Collaborate with the scientific community and mission team, contribute to workshops and mission communications.
