Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape agentic AI coding systems. You will design, implement, and evaluate autonomous coding workflows that plan, write, test, and iterate on production-quality code with minimal human intervention.

This fully remote, hourly-contract role offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and the opportunity to collaborate with researchers and engineers exploring Large Language Models and AI agents globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, or Rust.
• Strong software architecture and system design skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and code review practices.
• Clear communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine agentic coding workflows where AI plans, writes, tests, and iterates on code.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, security, and best practices.
• Create benchmarks and evaluation rubrics for agentic AI capabilities.
• Provide feedback on AI reasoning chains, tool usage, and code quality.
• Collaborate asynchronously with researchers and engineers working on AI agents.
• Work independently on task-based assignments with flexible scheduling.
