Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers for a fully remote hourly contract in The Hague area. You will write, review, and improve AI-generated code, helping train AI systems to think like developers. Work asynchronously, with 10–40 hours per week and the freedom to set your own schedule.

You should be proficient in Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, or TypeScript, with strong CS fundamentals. Experience with AI/ML concepts and code review is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more programming languages, Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Able to read, write, and reason about code with clarity.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across languages and domains.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and efficiency.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured feedback explaining why code works or not.
• Design coding prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank multiple AI-generated solutions by quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your schedule.
