Job summary

Alira Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (Sr CRA) for remote Europe with travel to Netherlands and Belgium. The freelancer will monitor clinical trial sites, ensure protocol and GCP compliance, and provide leadership to a cross-functional CRA team.

Candidates should have EU-based monitoring experience, oncology exposure, and the ability to work across time zones. This role supports global monitoring efforts with a focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• EU: Minimum 3 years of clinical monitoring experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/CRO industry.
• Experience in Oncology.
• Availability to travel in Netherlands and Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance, oversight, and feedback to the CRA team to ensure adherence to project scope, SOPs, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Reviews monitoring visit reports, conducts co-monitoring and evaluation visits as needed.
• Ensures appropriate and timely investigator site visits.
• Coordinates with cross-functional departments to facilitate issue resolution for trial monitoring issues.
• Assists in development of Monitoring Plans and training presentations.
