Job summary

Partner Company in the Netherlands is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer focused on ranking and personalization. You will design, build, and maintain real-time ML services powering e-commerce discovery and shopping experiences at scale.

You will collaborate with engineers, data specialists, and business stakeholders to run experiments, validate hypotheses with A/B tests, and continuously improve production systems for better conversions and revenue growth in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied machine learning experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data technologies.
• Experience deploying production-grade personalization or ranking systems.
• Experience with designing and analyzing A/B tests.
• Experience with a major public cloud platform is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable real-time ML services powering ranking and personalization.
• Enhance personalized shopping experiences with recommendation and discovery capabilities.
• Analyze user interactions to build models delivering relevant customer experiences.
• Research and implement personalization approaches to maximize value and performance.
• Formulate hypotheses and run experiments, measure impact on metrics.
