Job summary

Webbing, a global data MVNO, is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join their team in Amsterdam. The role involves deploying Workflow Engines using Kubernetes, implementing SIM Activation workflows, and optimizing REST APIs. Ideal candidates should have 4–6 years of backend software development experience, be proficient in Go or Java, and possess knowledge in PostgreSQL and Kubernetes. Qualifications

• 4–6 years backend software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with a workflow orchestration engine like Temporal.io.
• Comfortable with production services in Go or Java.
• Design and implementation of REST APIs.
• PostgreSQL experience for large datasets' optimization.
• Knowledge of provisioning flows and SIM lifecycle.
• Kubernetes deployment experience.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Design for failure capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure a Workflow Engine on Kubernetes.
• Design and implement SIM Activation workflows.
• Implement SIM Deactivation and Plan Change workflows.
• Define workflow versioning strategy.
• Lead development tasks and code reviews.
• Handle network trigger updates via workflow signals.
• Conduct load testing and integration testing.
• Post go-live hyper-care and continuous improvement.
