Job summary

IT SkillSprint seeks a Lead Teacher – Software Development & AI (Full-Stack) to deliver an intensive training programme for third-year university students in a fully remote role with an international education team. The position emphasizes hands-on coding, live instruction, and collaborative projects to build practical software and AI skills.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in full-stack web development and software engineering.
• Teaching or mentoring experience in software development bootcamps, university programmes, or similar settings.
• Strong backend knowledge: Java fundamentals, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Spring Security, JWT, microservices or messaging (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Frontend proficiency: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React/Next.js, HTML5, CSS3.
• DevOps tools: Git/GitHub workflows, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Codeium) and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging daily live lectures, demonstrations, and coding sessions combining theory and hands-on work.
• Prepare and adapt daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Mentor student teams on major projects and capstone activities.
• Teach integration of AI into software development with ethical and practical use.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide ongoing support and clarify complex concepts to diverse learners.
• Coordinate with TA to organize labs and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with programme stakeholders to align learning outcomes.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative learning environment.
