Job summary

Conference Compass in The Hague is looking for a Data Developer & API Backend Specialist to join their international team. In this role, you will build and maintain integrations with client APIs, develop data parsing and validation logic, and design scalable pipelines. The ideal candidate has expertise in TypeScript and Python, strong API integration skills, and an eagerness to tackle technical challenges. The position offers flexible work hours and the opportunity to work on innovative event technologies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python for backend development.
• Strong understanding of API design and integration.
• Experience building and managing data processing pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, including serverless services.
• Interest in AI-assisted tooling and LLMs for data integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations with various client APIs and data sources.
• Develop parsing and validation logic for client data.
• Design scalable data processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with teams to onboard new data sources.
• Write and maintain backend code primarily in TypeScript and Python.

Skills
