Job summary

Weaviate in the Netherlands seeks a Working Student Finance to support day-to-day financial operations while exploring automation with AI tools. This 16-hour-per-week remote role is ideal for a Bachelor’s student in Finance or Accounting with Dutch accounting experience and a proactive mindset.

You will help process invoices, manage queries, and assist the finance team with daily tasks, contributing to Weaviate’s international finance function.

Qualifications

• Available for 16 hours per week with flexible hours.
• Pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience (bank transactions, AP/AR).
• Advanced proficiency in Dutch and Dutch accounting/banking systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable (invoices).
• Manage and follow up on queries in the central finance inbox.
• Execute operational tasks in expense management systems (Pleo, Ramp).
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize financial operations using AI tools.
• Support the finance team with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.
