SME Careers is seeking a Dutch Language Specialist to review AI-generated Dutch content and craft high-quality reference material. This remote, hourly contractor role focuses on evaluating accuracy, fluency, tone, and cultural appropriateness while providing precise written feedback.

You will write rewrites and model answers, assess Dutch vs Flemish nuances, and rate AI outputs to guide improvements. A Bachelor’s degree and strong Dutch (native or near-native) plus English (C1) are required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a language-related field.
• Native or near-native Dutch proficiency (reading and writing).
• Strong professional English (C1) to provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, or language QA.
• Deep understanding of Dutch grammar, spelling, punctuation and style.
• Experience with Dutch variations (Netherlands vs Flemish) and able to explain differences.
• High attention to detail and ability to spot subtle shifts or cultural mismatches.
• Reliable, self-directed, remote contractor able to work across time zones.
• Prior AI data training/annotation or editorial QA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: create prompts and gold-standard Dutch answers across domains.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve fluency, tone, and cultural fit.
• Detect unsafe content, factual errors, bias, and policy risks; validate reliability.
