Job summary

Hiflylabs seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to shape the future of big data for Fortune 500 clients. You will lead post-sales architecture and data engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with the Databricks platform and client strategic goals.

You will mentor teams, continuously learn, and contribute to training programs in a remote role that requires significant time-zone overlap with clients. Strong Spark, Databricks, and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise with Apache Spark.
• Hands-on Databricks in large-scale projects.
• Experience in big data tech design and implementation (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP).
• 5+ years as Software/Data Engineer, with performance tuning and troubleshooting Spark or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala or Java.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• CI/CD, testing, orchestration, REST API, BI tools, SQL interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales technical leadership to guide customers in big data projects from architecture to deployment.
• Identify initiatives to convert data into actionable business value aligning with customers’ goals.
• Design production-grade workloads, perform performance tuning and end-to-end pipeline optimization.
• Deliver tutorials and training to promote platform adoption and enablement.
